1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the ColdGuard platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions in this agreement, you may not access the Platform or use any of its services.
2. Description of Service
ColdGuard provides an intelligent monitoring system and software application designed to track the integrity of vaccines and medicines. This includes tracking temperature (Mean Kinetic Temperature), device statuses, and event logs.
3. Medical Disclaimer
Important: The ColdGuard Platform assists in monitoring environmental conditions but does not replace professional medical judgment. You are solely responsible for determining the viability and safety of any vaccine or medical supply based on your institution's protocols and local health regulations.
4. User Account and Security
To use certain features, you must register for an account using Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Data Logging and Offline Sync
The ColdGuard hardware logs data locally to an SD card. The software application uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to sync this data from the hardware to your mobile device, and subsequently to cloud databases (Convex). You understand that data transmission requires user action (syncing) and eventual internet connectivity to be visible on the centralized institutional dashboard.
